Show Reports

A summary of each train show attended by the NRMRC is provided to update the membership on the event. Each report highlights the show, and also notes any encountered  issues, problems, and resolutions that occurred during the event. This is done to continuously improve the activities of the Club

This was the second year that NRV has run this show, and by all accounts, it was a busy and successful show.  The space we were allotted was very tight due to a dramatic increase in vendors at the show, but after some changes to alignment and a bit of adjustment, we fitted in all 11 tables with sufficient aisle space.  In addition we had a sale table and the Junior Engineer layout set up nearby.

A hearty group of 8 arrived before 11 AM on Friday, March 1st at the shed to load up for the show.

The North Raleigh Model Railroad Club conducted its third annual T-Trak show at the Galloway Ridge Retirement Community from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019. A “U” shaped 20’ x 18’ layout was used. 20 members were in attendance.

Twenty-two members participated at some point in the TCA Show at the Scott Building the weekend of December 1 – 2, 2018, six of them attended all three days. Thanks to Joel McCurry for helping Charles Eisener and myself load at the shed on Friday, and to Joe Johnston and Paul Ohegyi for helping Charles unload on Sunday.
